Tamron’s first compact, lightweight, large-aperture F2.8 ultra-wide-angle zoom lens for the Canon RF mount, the 11-20mm F/2.8 Di III-A RXD (Model B060), will be available from December 12, 2024
Tamron Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Shogo Sakuraba; headquarters: Saitama City), a comprehensive manufacturer of optical equipment, will release its first large-aperture ultra-wide-angle zoom lens for APS-C size mirrorless single-lens cameras with Canon RF mount, the 11-20mm F/2.8 Di III-A *1) RXD (Model B060) (hereinafter referred to as 11-20mm F2.8), on December 12, 2024.

Product Overview
The 11-20mm F2.8 is a large-aperture F2.8 zoom lens that covers ultra-wide angles from 11mm to 20mm *3 . It is small and lightweight for a large-aperture ultra-wide-angle zoom lens, and balances well with a compact APS-C size mirrorless single-lens camera body, making it ideal for everyday use. Although it is small and lightweight, it achieves high image quality with an uncompromising optical design. In addition, the minimum shooting distance at the wide-angle end of 11mm is 0.15m, and the maximum shooting magnification is 1:4, so you can take wide macro shots with a perspective effect by utilizing its incredible close-up shooting capabilities. In addition, the AF drive is equipped with a stepping motor unit RXD (Rapid eXtra-silent stepping Drive) that is extremely quiet. 3. Excellent optical performance
The lens consists of 12 elements in 10 groups. Two GM (Glass Molded Aspheric) lenses are well-balanced to maintain high resolution performance across the entire screen. In addition, one special glass XLD (eXtra Low Dispersion) lens and two LD (Low Dispersion) lenses are used to effectively correct various aberrations and achieve clear image quality.
