New Zeniko Flash Products

Zeniko has released some interesting compact flash products, and they have even created an arm to be used with the most compact lights they make. These lights are all dumb flashes so they will only sink at your camera’s max flash sync speed since they do not have any of the proprietary secret sause that allows for HSS. Above, you can see the Zeniko ZA-12, and below you can see the Zeniko ZF08, Zeniko ZF04, and Zeniko FM01.

Canon Has Produced 170 Million RF/EF Lens

Canon’s RF/EF lens production exceeds 170 million units, extending its world record in interchangeable lens production
TOKYO, October 22, 2025—Canon Inc. announced today that, in October 2025, Canon reached a historic milestone of producing a cumulative total of 170 million RF and EF interchangeable lenses for its EOS series, extending its world record1 for the highest number of interchangeable camera lenses ever produced.

The EF lens was introduced in 1987 as the dedicated lens system for Canon’s EOS autofocus single-lens reflex film camera, debuting simultaneously with the EOS system itself. Since their inception, EF lenses have led the industry by incorporating a series of world-first2 technologies, including the Ultrasonic Motor (USM), Image Stabilizer (IS) technology, and a multilayered Diffractive Optical (DO) element, and have undergone numerous evolutions.

In 2018, Canon launched the RF lens series, designed for the EOS R mirrorless camera system, which features a large aperture, short back focus, and high-speed communication system to deliver even higher image quality. The RF and EF lens series lineup now includes a total of 108 models3, covering a wide range of focal lengths4 from ultra-wide 10mm to super-telephoto 1200mm. The series also includes the world’s first VR lens5, lenses with built-in power zoom suited for video shooting, and even those compatible with power zoom adapters—expanding the scope of creative expression and meeting the diverse needs of users for both still photography and video.

EF lens production began at Canon’s Utsunomiya Plant in 1987. Since then, both EF and RF lenses have gained strong support from a wide range of users—from beginners to professionals—leading to steady growth in production volume. Today, Canon manufactures lenses at five sites: Utsunomiya Plant; Canon Inc., Taiwan; Canon Opto (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.; Oita Canon Inc.; and Miyazaki Canon Inc. Milestones include 10 million units produced by 1995 and 50 million by 2009. Then in 2014, Canon became the first company in the world to reach 100 million interchangeable camera lenses produced. In October 2025, the company reached 170 million units, leading to the achievement of this world record. The 170 millionth lens produced was the RF70-200mm F2.8 L IS USM Z.

Canon has maintained the No.16 global market share for digital interchangeable-lens cameras for 22 consecutive years since 2003. Moving forward, Canon will continue to refine its proprietary imaging technologies and further strengthen and expand its lens lineup, pioneering new imaging possibilities and contributing to the continued evolution of photographic and video culture.

Versatile Flash Solution
Auto, Manual, Multi flash mode compatibility, HSS, first- and second-curtain sync, and FEC are some of the handy functions of the iT32. The TTL capability simplifies shooting by automatically adjusting flash output so your subject and background are evenly exposed. Also featured are integrated Wi-Off, Sender, and Receiver modes using the separately available X5 unit.

Quick Attachment
By simply aligning the separately available X5 with the bottom of the iT32, the flash will automatically absorb it for easy attachment. After this step, you can rotate the locking ring of the flash trigger to properly insert the optional X5 into the hot shoe mount of your camera, then rotate the locking ring until it’s locked for secure attachment.

Wireless Triggering
Remove the separately available X5 from the iT32 body and connect it to your camera’s hot shoe mount to achieve wireless control of select settings from a maximum range of 65.6′. When the iT32 and the optional X5 are used together (iT32+X5 setting), the X5 is also capable of sync triggering other Godox flashes to further increase flexibility and creative lighting control. In this case, the maximum control distance is from 262.4′.

Easy Operation & Internal Battery
The iT32’s intuitive touchscreen and simplified buttons enable easy operation. The flash also has a convenient LED modeling light that supports brightness adjustments from level 1 to 10. Regarding power, it takes approximately one hour and 10 minutes to fully charge the iT32’s 7.2V, 900mAh lithium battery using the included USB-C cable. A battery level indicator enables quick monitoring of the remaining battery level.

Portable Body & Included Accessories
This compact 4 x 2.2 x 1.5″ flash has a transparent wide-angle diffuser, as well as a white catchlight panel for different light customization options. A photocell sensor and sync cord port are also available. Use the USB-C interface for charging and receiving firmware updates. Godox includes a USB-C charging cable, a magnetic mini stand, a diffuser, two magnetic color filters, and a simple bag for storage and transportation.

The dynamic X5C TTL Wireless Flash Trigger from Godox works seamlessly with the brand’s separately available iT32 mini flash by adding a hot shoe connection and flash triggering capability. This version, the X5C, features a hot shoe compatible with select Canon cameras. By simply aligning the X5C with the bottom of your iT32, the flash will automatically absorb it for easy attachment. After this step, rotate the locking ring of the flash trigger to properly insert the X5C into the hot shoe mount of your compatible camera. To complete, rotate the locking ring until it’s locked for secure connection.

Flexibility
When the separately available iT32 and the X5C are used together (iT32+X5 setting), the X5C is also capable of sync triggering other Godox flashes. As a sender unit with the optional iT32, the X5C is able to control various receiver units that are a part of Godox’s wireless X system, such as AD100Pro II, AD200Pro II, AD600Pro II, AD600BM II, iT30Pro, V100, V480, and Lux Master models.

Additional Details
Please note: The X5C does not have power on/off function, but color indicators. Users can attach the X5C to the separately available iT32 and access the menu to check the battery level of the flash trigger. The X5C has an internal 3.8V, 100mAh lithium battery. It takes approximately three hours to fully charge the X5C after connecting it to your iT32, and about 16 hours to discharge from full battery level.
